Girl Unleashed was born from a simple but powerful belief: every girl deserves to feel strong, seen, and connected—to herself, to others, and to the earth. As women of color who found healing, courage, and clarity through time in nature, our founders knew how life-changing it can be to step outside the noise of everyday life and into the stillness of the forest. But too many girls, especially from multicultural backgrounds, grow up believing that the outdoors isn’t meant for them. Girl Unleashed exists to change that.

We launched in Spring 2025 to create space for girls ages 12–21 to explore nature as a mirror for their own growth. With hikes, camping, fire circles, and workshops woven together, our programs are designed not just to build outdoor skills—but to awaken resilience, confidence, and community. We provide the gear, transportation, and support to make these experiences possible for first-time adventurers. Because when a girl feels she belongs in nature, she begins to believe she belongs anywhere.
